Chan “WinteR” Litt Binn, Joel Chan “XtiNcT” Zhan and Fadil “Kecik Imba” Bin Mohd Raziff take another crack at competitive play on the Mineski-X roster. The trio of SEA players were the founding members of the team formed for the Shanghai Major qualifiers. Clement “InsidiousC” Tan and a mysterious player named `zai have come on board in hopes of bringing the new roster a better season and results.

Four of the new players on the Mineski X roster had played for Orange esports at some point in their careers. Chan “WinteR” Litt Binn, Joel Chan “XtiNcT” Zhan, Fadil “Kecik Imba” Bin Mohd Raziff and Clement “InsidiousC” Tan were all part of various formations of the famed Malaysian team between the years of 2011- 2014.
Mineski-X was originally created for the Shanghai Major 2016. They were the first team to grab a spot in the Shanghai Major SEA Regional Qualifiers but were eliminated and didn’t progress to the main event.
The squad was a mix of familiar faces, including WinteR, XtiNcT, Kecik Imba, and Michael “ninjaboogie” Ross.
Several roster changes and moving WinteR and Kecik Imba to the substitute role, the team participated in regional qualifiers and minor events with little achievements to note.
Now, both players appear to be ready to take on a more active role and are re-joined by XtiNcT.
WinteR is a professional Dota 2 player from Malaysia best known to many for his casting, especially for his English casts for the SEA and Chinese region tournaments. He joined his fellow casters for TI5 for the first time and again in TI6.
Kecik Imba made his first appearance in the professional Dota 2 scene when he joined team Orange, on February 14, 2013. He became the 6th player on the roster, as part of Orange’s “player development program”. Despite being a part of the organization during The International 3, he was not selected to play. After Titan picked up most of Orange’s roster following TI3, Kecik Imba was left teamless. He later joined Invasion e-Sports, March 2014, as the team’s solo mid player. He stayed with Invasion for one year prior to rejoining his former teammates on EHOME.my. On EHOME.my, Kecik Imba originally became the mid player, while Mushi switched to support. However, later in the Team Malaysia days and later as Fnatic, the two players switched roles again and Kecik Imba moved to support. After TI5, Kecik Imba was not part of any team other than Mineski-X.
An old school and famed DotA player – XtiNcT is well known for his ability to control micro intensive heroes such as Enchantress and Chen with great finesse. He was captain of several DotA squads, most notably Nirvana.my, one of the best SEA DotA teams. In 2011 he was picked up by Orange along with Chai “Mushi” Yee Fung and WinteR. He stayed with Orange until 2013 taking 7-8th place at TI2, third at TI3 and several championship titles in regional events. He continued on with his success as he transitioned with four of his team members of Orange to Titan, eventually taking 9-10th place at TI4.
The original Mineski-X trio is joined by Clement “InsidiousC” Tan and a player named `zai -presumably a nod to Ludwig “zai” Wåhlberg currently playing on Evil Geniuses.
InsidiousC was one of the founding members of a Singaporean team formed in 2013 called Insidious Idol – named for the best player on the team. After military service, InsidiousC played with WinteR on Orange in 2014.
