Pries has announced via Facebook that the organization has signed a new Dota 2 squad. Most of the players are coming in from Sanguine Sharks, a team that was formerly known as GOOMBA Gaming and has had a long standing presence in the EU minor tournament scene. In addition, the team has added Eskil “Eskillz” Sundblad of Team Toast to the mix.
We have played together for some months as Sanguine Sharks, adjusting playstyles and roles and improving through trial and error. Unfortunately, being unsponsored, we did not have many opportunities to showcase our skill in competitions for money, and as a result do not yet have many significant achievements under our name. However, we hope to bring a change to both of those facts by starting our cooperation with the well known organization Pries. We are all passionate about the game, full of potential and faith in ourselves, and ready to make Pries a team to be feared!
– Stoyan “SlashStrike” Kralchev, team captain
The last PRIES Dota 2 team disbanded June 5th after three months of competing together. Three of the former players – Mastermind, Mikey and Bashruk had migrated to ProDota Gaming while the two Danish brothers – supercell and KyH have been flying under the radar since.
