The first round of the Manila Major SEA Open Qualifiers has left 32 teams with hopes to continue their journey to China. More than 500 teams were sent home early to practice and try their luck again in the second set of the Manila Major SEA Open Qualifiers, starting on May 1.
No surprise to see TnC as one of the teams to advance. On April 13th, TnC brought on board Carlo “Kuku” Palad to fill in the shoes of Gio “WinterGSmallSon” de Ocampo who is now inactive due to health reasons. The change in their roster forced them to forfeit their eligibility to be directly invited to the regional qualifiers.
MVP.Hot6ix were taken out by a Vietnamese team called PewPew in Round of 128 who then also defeated Arcanys and advanced to Round of 32 for tomorrow.
Mineski-X eliminated JokeR in Round of 64 and will be making their appearance in Round of 32.

The Manila Major will be held between June 7-12, at the Mall of Asia Arena, in Manila, Philippines, with a set prize-pool of $3,000,000. Sixteen teams will compete in the main event hosted by PGL and Valve.
Progress can be followed in the FACEIT brackets, as teams progress tomorrow.
