MasGamers Dota 2 Pro League in Peru is getting ready for a new season. This iteration will feature a prize pool of 15,000 Peruvian soles (approximately $4,280). The event will take place in three stages, with the finals being held from May 20th-22nd. The playoffs will be held at the MasGamers Tech IX Festival in the Jockey Club Convention Center. Last year’s champions were Elite Wolves.
MasGamers Dota 2 Pro League is back. It is an event held by MasGamers Peru, the largest festival organizer for video games in the country.
The Dota 2 Pro League will take place over the course of three stages, with the finals being held from May 20th-22nd and feature a prize pool of 15,000 Peruvian sole (approximately $4,280).
The event will include top players from Latin America and newcomers. The hope is that various sponsors and brands will be able to connect with new teams and players and give them an opportunity to gain some support.
Last year’s tournament included teams such as Unknown, Dilecom, Not Toady, TLC and the championship team – Elite Wolves. There has been no official notification of attending teams this year yet.
MasGamers Dota 2 Pro League
The event will consist of two qualifying stages. The first will be open to all teams in both Peru and internationally. The first stage began on February 12th and will continue through May 6th.
For several weeks the teams will compete for a place in the second stage.
The second stage teams will compete to be one of eight finalists to advance to the playoffs. The finals will be held at the MasGamers Tech IX Festival in the Jockey Club Convention Center from May 20-22nd.

The MasGamers Tech IX Festival will include live music, cosplay contest, exhibition games , tournaments, workshops, lectures, raffles, and more.
